The Conflict

This is one of the 3 dragon vignettes made by Denis Beauvais. It is about 8 inches high and 11 inches wide. This vignette is made out of 25 single pieces and it took me 3 days just to assemble them so that it all fit together.

And after that I foundout that assanbling was the easy part. White and black are complicatec colors for dragons. They never look really the way you imgine them they should look.

For beeing able to paint the dragons I had to break off the wings of the black draon and after I finished the bodies I attached them again.

All his vignetes are very nice and all are very hard to paint.

In 1993 this won a prize for best vignette of the year.
